The Threefold Division of Injustice and Its Reckoning

Hadith of the Day is a daily feature highlighting timeless sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the Ahlul-Bayt (pbut), offering insights into faith, ethics, and spirituality for contemporary life.

Hawzah News Agency- Imam Baqir (a.s) said:

Injustice is of three kinds: an injustice that Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, forgives; an injustice that He does not forgive; and an injustice that He does not leave unaddressed.

1. As for the injustice that He does not forgive, it is associating partners with Allah, the Mighty and Exalted.

2. As for the injustice that Allah forgives, it is a person’s wrongdoing against himself in what lies between him and Allah, the Mighty and Exalted.

3. And as for the injustice that He does not leave unaddressed, it is the mutual claims and debts among servants.
